SAATCHI & SAATCHI WELLNESS STRENGTHENS ITS STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP WITH 3 KEY HIRES

Recent Appointments Highlight SSW’s Commitment to Its Full-Service Offering

New York, NY—May 19, 2023—Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness (SSW)—the leading integrated global health and wellness agency and a Publicis Health company—has expanded its strategy leadership team with the addition of three key appointments: Noel Castro joins as EVP of HCP Brand Strategy; Michelle Rowley joins as SVP of Consumer Brand Strategy; and Madhuri Fletcher has expanded her Publicis Health role and joins as SVP of Medical Strategy. All roles are effective immediately.

The new hires come from various backgrounds:

●      Noel Castro, EVP of HCP Brand Strategy, is a big picture thinker and a compelling storyteller. His diverse experience working in both strategy and creative helps him create powerful strategies that inspire clients and creatives alike. Throughout his career he has worked across a wide range of therapeutic areas including oncology, rare disease, obesity, migraine, epilepsy, animal health, allergy, Autism, ADHD and vaccinations. Noel has done everything from acting as Chief Creative Officer and Managing Director at Havas to starting and running his own company to being a creative judge for multiple award shows including Cannes Lions Health. He graduated from Virginia Tech and Wharton’s Leadership Excellence Program.

●      Michelle Rowley, SVP of Consumer Brand Strategy, comes to SSW from Deutsch and has an incredible passion for all things wellness. Throughout her career she has led strategic thinking for powerful wellness brands including Cetaphil, Differin, ACUVUE, Purina, Pantene, DePuys Synthes and the Ad Council Treatment Option Awareness. Her work has won everything from a Gold Effie and Gold One Pencil to a Webby and Jay Chiat Honorary Mention. She graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in English literature.

●      In addition, Madhuri Fletcher, a Publicis Health veteran who currently leads Medical Strategy at Publicis Health sister agency Heartbeat, will take on an expanded leadership role overseeing Medical Strategy for SSW, bringing her successful approach to support SSW’s premier brand roster. Madhuri has spent her career in healthcare, decoding the data and the science behind brands into simple and compelling stories for HCPs and patients. With a BA degree in Psychology-Biology from Swarthmore College and a PhD in Neuroimmunology from Stony Brook University, her experience started behind the bench and expanded to pre-clinical, clinical development and marketing. Madhuri has worked across virtually every therapeutic area and will leverage this wide-ranging expertise as she leads SSW’s medical strategy department.
